Dr
Chandra’s Path Lab has gone
for Laboratory Accreditation programs
and implemented a comprehensive
Quality Management System. We
have also adopted different laboratory
improvement programs, which involve
professional peer-reviews, education
and compliance with established
performance standards.
The lab has been awarded ISO 9001:2000
certification by United Registrar
of Systems Ltd, England. We are
among the first few lab in Delhi
and NCR region, which were awarded
with this certification and since
then audited by external auditors
on periodical basis and proud
to have it have it maintained
for years.
Our quality improvement mantra
is “Benchmark with the best
and Excel”. For past many
years Lab has been following internal
as well as external quality program
like NEQAP of Indian Association
of Pathologist and Microbiologist
and VILAC from Association of
Practicing Pathologist (APP).
The following is the timetable
(frequency) of some of the quality
initiatives at CPL:
EverydayInternational standards/controls
are run on the different analyzers
and equipments before loading
the samples
Monthly Lab results are evaluated
in Official Proficiency Program
for Clinical laboratories based
on International Guidelines ISO
Guide-43, under VILAC of Association
of Practicing Pathologist (APP).
Under this inter laboratory Comparison
Program, our results are benchmarked
with the best of the laboratory
in India. We are founding member
of this program and having been
performing excellent in all the
parameters.
Every 3 months Dr. Chandra’s
Path Lab is assessed under the
National External Quality Assurance
Program (NEQAP) of Indian Association
of Pathologist and Microbiologist.
This program has been running
since 1989 from BHU Medical College,
Varanasi (U.P.) |
